SPEAKS ABOUT BEAUTY

The Beautiful Habits

You can help reduce the effects of aging by following simple advice: Take care of yourself.
"Habits that keep your body functioning at its best are the same things that promote an attractive, alert face, and an active, confident bearing", says Samuel R. Dismond Jr., M.D., chief of staff of the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan.

Here are some ideas to help add healthful behaviors and attitudes to your life.

Eat a healthful diet
. For optimum health and appearance, strike a healthy balance by eating meals rich in grains, vegetables and fruit, with small servings of chicken, fish and lean meat. And be sure to drink plenty of water every day. God hydration helps keep the skin taut and elastic, reduces bloating and helps keep your mouth and breath fresh.

Exercise Regularly. Good cardiovascular conditioning also improves blood flow that tones your skin for a healthy glow.

Get a good night's sleep. "Give your body the rest it needs to restore itself". You will feel refreshed, you will look better, you will have more spring in your step and your day will be filled with vitality.

Avoid Toxins
. Harmful substances take their toll on your appearance and your health,. Smokers, for instance, are more likely to have dry, wrinkled skin than nonsmokers.

Get in Touch with your Spiritual Side
. Prayer or meditation is a key element for good appearance.

Manage Stress
. "Stress is not attractive". If you learn to calm yourself, you will look and feel healthier and happier. If you are positive about yourself and others, you will automatically present a more attractive face to the world.
