Never take LOVE for granted

Why is it that we never realize how much we love someone until they're gone? And when we come to our senses.. its too damn late!
We always want who and what we can't have and what we have. We either don't appreciate or just take it for granted. Why do we almost have to wait for a tragedy to happen before we can come to the point of realization? It has always been ever since... regret is always at the end. It's also synonymous to the point of no return because ther's no use in reclaiming the love that is found and you let lost neither in holding on to someone you allowed to slip away or to go. Although sometimes they found their way back, but more often they don't. When this happens, you assess blame to circumstances, to the people around you, to the other person, without deeming what you're doing... no one to blame. That person may or may not come back. Either way, it doesn't prove though that the person who's gone is the one who loved you less. You'll bever really know. He's gone. Now, will you still? So i guess the saying: "If you really love someone, set him free. If he comes back, they you're meant to be" doesn't always apply. Because if you truly, really love someone who loves you just as much, you'd be a fool to let him go. Why would you miss out on the good thing? Sure, love is a trial-and error process. Sometimes we just have to take the risk. We only have one life and it isn't everyday that good opportunities come knocking on your door. Think of what the chances are of coming across your destined love. Meeting your soulmate is like seeing a shooting star. It doesn't happen a lot. you have to wait for long before seeing another one. So when it's there.. we take it, right?
So if love comes, go for it. After all who knows it's all worth the wait. just remember the limitations.
